This whole "the NYT ruined Wordle!" thing is a great case study in confirmation bias. It also gives us some insight into human nature that helps explain how conspiracy theories work.

The NYT word list is missing todays original word. So that shifts the index meaning the NYT wordle is actually tomorrow's actual wordle. NYT has wordlinator-ed their entire user base.
Come on NYT, do better. #wordlegate
