Trailing Startiform (clouds and light rain after storms), Leading Stratiform (clouds and light rain before storms), and Parallel Stratiform (clouds and light rain parallel to storms).

What are Mesoscale Convective Systems?
A Mesoscale Convective System (MCS) is a collection of thunderstorms that act as a system. It may be a solid line of storms, a broken line of storms, or even a cluster of storms.
