在未来的区块链应用中，用户经常需要提交零知识证明（ZKP）来完成一些操作，例如使用某个 DeFi 应用或参与某个治理系统。这些 ZKP 的生成不必由使用者本人完成，只要有人拥有足够的计算资源，就可以为她生成。
Alice 就是这样一位使用者。她想使用某个 on-chain 应用，但不想自己产生 ZKP。于是，她转向一个新兴市场 —— Boundless Marketplace，这是一个为可验证计算（verifiable compute）设计的 spot market。

Reverse Dutch auction反向荷兰拍：谁能用最低价格完成任务？
Alice 在 Boundless Marketplace 上发佈了她的请求。她并不是直接找人谈价格，而是透过一种称为 reverse Dutch auction 的机制来进行配对：
请求一发出，起始价格偏低。
随着时间流逝，价格会自动上升。
一旦价格高到某个 prover（例如 Charlie）觉得划算，就会有人承接这个任务，拍卖结束。
这种方式不但让 Alice 可能以市场最低价拿到服务，也因为第一个接单的人自动中标，大幅简化了协议複杂度，甚至可以应用在 on-chain 的自动撮合。

Alice 的请求内容包含哪些？
要发佈请求，Alice 只需要提供以下几项资讯：
证明计算的机器可读描述（machine-readable）
开始时间（timestamp）
价格曲线（monotone non-decreasing price function）
可选的质押金（bond）
请求的到期时间（expiration）
是否允许「锁定」请求（lockable or not）
她可以选择将请求发佈在链上（on-chain），或透过 (gossip protocol)、(exchange)、(listing service) 等途径在链下散播。最终执行与结算都会回到她所指定链上的 Boundless Marketplace 合约中完成。

Bob 与 Charlie 如何做出承接决策？
Provers 会根据 Alice 的描述与市场状况进行评估，例如：
任务複杂度（透过 non-proving executor 试算）
自身工作量与资源
其他市场机会
预期利润与风险
是否允许抢单／锁定
每位 prover 会设定一个心理价格底线。假设 Charlie 的价格较低，当价格上升到接近他的门槛时，他可以：
直接抢单：立刻生成并提交 ZKP，抢先完成。
锁定请求（lock the request）：质押 stake，取得此任务的排他执行权，避免他人插队。

⚔️ stake 与 slash：确保诚信的经济激励
如果 Charlie 选择锁定请求，他必须质押一定数量的 stake 作为保证。这笔 stake 并非只是装饰——
若他在期限前没完成任务，这笔 stake 将会被惩罚性没收，这就是所谓的 (slash)。
这个机制保障了任务的可执行性，确保 prover 不会轻易佔位后弃单，维持整体市场的诚信与效率。

💸 结算与奖励
当任务完成后，prover 会自动收到报酬。报酬为：
任务价格 – 市场手续费（market take rate）
这个价格会依据两种情况决定：
如果 prover 有先锁定请求 → 以锁定当下的价格计算；
如果是抢单完成 → 以提交当下的价格计算。
另外，如果 Alice 同意，prover 还能透过 (aggregated batch) 的方式把多个证明一起打包处理，进一步降低 (gas) 成本。

It's amazing to see how engaged the Boundless community is in The Signal.
I've been getting a lot of DMs with valid questions, and I would like to help clear things up:
Why are some bronze tasks disabled?
- We are currently experiencing issues with the Twitter API, so we disabled all social related tasks for the time being. We are actively working on deploying a solution to restore these tasks.
Will the bronze tier be closed soon?
- No, the tier will be open for the entirety of the campaign.
Why can't a claim the "Chain climber" task?
- This task won't be claimable until this Friday when the Week 2 standings are announced. It requires you to vote for a chain outside the Top 3, and have the same chain rise 1+ spots on the leaderboard.
Do I need to keep paying to request proofs?
- Yes, this is how the Boundless marketplace functions. Requestors put up a fee for provers to compete for and generate proofs. We built this abstraction to allow normal community members to be able to meaningfully contribute to the marketplace. 100% of contributions are being used to power The Signal, bringing ZK interoperability to all chains.
Why can't I claim "nano prover"?
- Nano prover requires you to generate 1 proof on the Boundless marketplace. We know there are some provers who are not competitive enough for the zk mining competition, so they will find more progress on the community member track this way.
Why can't I complete Silver?
- Although some community members have completed the Silver tier already, many users won't be able to complete it day 1. This is by design. New Silver tasks will be revealed on Aug 5th, alongside a new interaction.
