In his address, @pmmaraka, CEO of the @UCF_UG, issued a resonant call to parents, leaders, and institutions: it’s not enough to celebrate youth, we must actively nurture them. Uganda boasts one of the most energetic youth populations in Africa, many of whom, despite global mobility, yearn to stay and contribute within their communities.
Maraka’s powerful reflection asked us to rethink everyday parenting and mentorship. We are not just raising children, we are shaping generations that will steward Uganda’s economic and social transformation. From digital innovation to agriculture, especially coffee, young people are hungry to lead.
