Twenty years ago, on June 13th, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) took effect after unanimous approval from all parties of the Legislature. This landmark legislation set 2025, as the target year for achieving accessibility in Ontario.

AODA started the conversation about accommodating visible & invisible disabilities and is making a difference; getting access is no longer a personal battle but a right. One student who traveled with a service dog often faced reprisals; now she does not.#AccessON #week5tech252
