@DrKarlynB @WES_Oregon American Library Association is having a librarians conference in the Twin Cities soon. Someone (in an ALA FB group #ALATT) was wondering if it should still happen. Then all the replies deal with fighting back against ICE if they do end up going.
Defund ALA.
@ALA_PLA
ALA that seeks to indoctrinate and s•xualize children in schools is using #ALATT and the new Hollywood film by Sarah Jessica Parker to grift for money to sue more parents into silence. 🤐 Evil, evil people. @PENamerica + @ALALibrary are suing parents and teachers nationwide.
Red Cards to defeat @RealTomHoman @ICEgov and America are promoted in large American Library Association #ALATT Facebook group for librarians.
Defund @ALALibrary. @DOGE @usedgov @pnjaban
Librarians are about to suppress another author, Neil Gaiman @neilhimself.
Maybe that’s right for people given his history, but don’t librarians always oppose censorship, like kids not getting access to material that Bd of Ed v Pico would block?

LIBRARIANS HATE #MAGA.
Source? For this example, an American Library Association @ALALibrary group @Facebook called #ALATT. Notice they also mock families and children.

“Libraries are not neutral. We are the antithesis of Capitalism. Public Libraries are Socialism in Action.”

It’s Banned Books Week and school librarian Amanda Jones @abmack33 is promoting her book #ThatLibrarian. Look 👀 how #ALATT describes it, that “White Christian Nationalists only want to have their stories represented.”
Marxist racist all in one.

It’s “impossible not to be political” for #librarians as they promote @KamalaHarris.
#parenting #moms #dads: These are public employees driving the agenda. That “freedom” is to s*xualize and indoctrinate children for @ALALibrary #UniteAgainstBookBans. #alatt #tlchat
“If you're getting tons of replies from a group of people belonging to any particular ideology whom you've criticized, you're probably over the target.”
That explains the comments on my post about @ALALibrary #librarians on #ALATT bullying communities:

Tucker Carlson's tweet offers a great sample size for Twitter engagement behavior.
1 out of 700 people will post a reply, but 1 out of 70 will like your tweet. Almost 3 times as many people will share your views to their own audience than give you their two cents.
The lesson to be learned from this is that you should not have your opinion swayed by the replies, much less the trolls in your comment section, who will undoubtedly make up a not insignificant percentage of the replies you receive especially if you're an influencer, public figure, or political personality.
If you're getting tons of replies from a group of people belonging to any particular ideology whom you've criticized, you're probably over the target.
Stay the course and be true to your own message.
BREAKING STORY IN PROGRESS (DURING #TXLA23):

Apparently a screenshot of one of my tweets made over to something called Library Think Tank #ALATT on Facebook, with > 50,000 members. I...feel like I've finally made it in the Library World. You may hereinafter address me as:
Your Librarian-mess 😉
Here’s another block, by @LibraryPolicy, about which I almost never tweet, so it further supports that my alerting people to read + think for themselves what ALA is doing was viewed as a problem by ALA. It also recently took #ALATT private @facebook. So #FundLibraries blocked me!
@paulapoundstone FB site Library Think Tank, #ALATT is a lively group of librarians often sharing hilarious or horrifying experiences on the job.
#ALATT disappoints again with the sharing of this photo! Pack it up, this shit isn't funny.
I don’t really pay attention to #ALATT (FB) anymore but of course I happened to see a super racist post that admins are allowing to stay up. I’m beyond disgusted. #librarytwitter
@MadLibrarySci @SurlyLibrarian Haha, you just aren't spending enough time in the #ALATT Facebook group. You're probably better off 😂
