I am in Berlin now and it is heartbreaking to watch driving a car into innocent people become a repeated act of Islamist terrorism.
The Islamist terror attack at CSD must be a wake-up call. Federal and state governments must stop funding Islamic centers that promote Islamism or maintain ties to Islamist movements. Not one euro of taxpayers’ money should support extremism, terrorism, or homophobia.
For people who grew up under Islamic regimes, this is not shocking. This is the horror we lived every day.
I visited Hamburg and in this video as you see, I am standing in front of the Blue Mosque in Hamburg, one of 50+ mosques built across Germany by the Iranian regime, funded by your tax system and protected by your religious freedom.

I acknowledge that #Alinejad has campaigned against mandatory hijab laws and has spoken about the brutality of the Islamic regime, points that highlight real suffering under the current government. However, she is not a legitimate representative of the #Iranian people. Many Iranians view her as having ties to elements within the regime (including #reformist factions that have long propped it up) and as not acting in good faith for our true interests. Her actions have often been seen as #divisive rather than #unifying, especially when the streets of Iran chant for freedom under figures like #RezaPahlavi. The Iranian opposition is deeply fractured, and associating with someone widely distrusted inside Iran risks undermining genuine efforts for change. We urge you to listen to the voices of protesters on the ground, who demand a complete end to this regime and support those who truly reflect their aspirations

Today I walked out of a meeting with the German government because they tried to censor me. I had a meeting with officials in the German Foreign Ministry. But I was told the meeting had to be kept secret and I couldn’t mention it in the media or write about it on my social media. I tried to convince the officials to publicly meet with Iranian delegation that included @simamoradb51053 young woman who had been shot during the Woman, Life, Freedom revolution last year.
When the ministry officials insisted on keeping the meeting a secret, I walked out.
I am a women’s rights activist and I stand for transparency. How ironic that German government, with its feminist foreign policy, wants to meet with other feminists but only in secret. The German government is practicing victim blaming.
I’ve heard some German officials say I’m too radical and meeting me publicly would be fatal to their Iran policy.
If standing up for women’s rights and wanting an end for gender apartheid regime in Iran is being radical, then I’m proud to be labeled as such.
The German government is helping the Islamic Republic to silence dissidents. I refuse to play their game. Earlier this week I had many constructive meetings with parliamentarians and ministers from different parties. I have high hope that they can be allies of Iranian women.
