Euthrix potatoria, The drinker moth.
So called because the caterpillars are supposed to have a liking for drops of dew. They always remind me of tiny hedgehogs!

One of the woodland gates on the estate incorporates part of a victorian pair of police handcuffs! Believed to have been done by an estate blacksmith c1900. I was first shown these by a gamekeeper in the 1980's. Nothing was ever wasted.

Bee orchid (ophrys apifera)
Mimicking a bee and even giving off the scent of a female bee to attract passing males to aid pollination.
Clever yes, but in this country they self- pollinate so the deception is not actually needed.
