Muistetaan myös, että viime vuonna Suomessa käyttöönotettu #AndroidELS välittää Advanced Mobile Location #AML -teknologian avulla android-puhelimista automaattisesti tarkan sijaintitiedon. Kohta myös iOS-versio käytössä ja sama onnistuu iPhonen osalta.

@Daryl_Branson This is good news for people in USA. iOS #AML version is at the moment under testing in @112_Finland. @Google's #AndroidELS was implemented last year and has been a life-saving improvement. We receive over 100 000 geolocation messages from android phones (median 23 m) per month.

@macjbby @BenoitVivier @Google #AML technology / #AndroidELS is also implemented into the Text-To-112 service in @112_Finland . It works well and getting the geolocation automatically does not mean that dispatching would be done without a proper interaction between the caller and the calltaker. #NENA2018

@HuhtelaJussi @112_Finland on valmistellut sitä jo keväästä alkaen ja iOS-versio on testissä parhaillaan. Ellei yllätyksiä tule, se on lähiaikoina käytössä. Suomi on #AML :n hyödyntämisessä kärkimaita. Myös #112SMS:n osalta #AndroidELS-paikannus otettiin käyttöön ensimmäisenä.

@BenoitVivier and Fiona Lee from @Google told about the possibilities of #AndroidELS in #NENA2018. Implementation is more challenging in USA than in those countries where there is only one nationwide endpoint. Europe is showing the way. #AML
