Our project #AWeeksNotice finished yesterday, so we'd like to say a big, big thank you to the 7 artists who created daily prompts to help you stay creative and Take Notice
🙌 @aliwil267 @amyvreeke @miraysidhomm @SuriyaAisha @midgittebardot @Jakeybowen @Only_HMD 🙌
It's the last day of #AWeeksNotice, and we want to leave you somewhere nice. So today's prompt from @only_hmdis to #takenotice of the space around you, and do at least one thing to make it more relaxing. Fold a blanket, light a candle, tidy that mug.
It's the weekend and today's #takenotice invitation from @only_hmd is to cook yourself breakfast. What are your breakfast suggestions that need a bit of prep time and love?
#AWeeksNotice
Here @only_hmd talks us through his #takenotice reading target prompt, + gives an insight into his own reading material and why it's important to take notice of your own attention span
#AWeeksNotice
Reading can be a great way to relax and focus during lockdown,so today @only_hmd suggests you set yourself a reading target that's honestly achievable. #takenotice of what's right for you. 5mins a day? A daily poem for 3 days?
#AWeeksNotice
Even if you don't think of yourself as good at drawing, try and capture something about your face and #takenotice of your lines. Here's @only_hmd leading the way with some GCSE art-class inspired basics...
#AWeeksNotice
Our #takenotice prompt from @only_hmd today is to draw a self-portrait - a snapshot of yourself as you are today.
#AWeeksNotice
Tap 1-2-3-4 on with your pencil. On every 3, tap the coin as well. Then start to tap the table with the heel of your hand (your kick drum) on every 1. Which songs can you keep a beat to?
Here's @only_hmd talking us through it...and making it look easy!
#AWeeksNotice
Today @only_hmd suggests you #takenotice of your rhythm with some table top drumming. You'll need: a pencil (or other appropriate drumstick) in one hand. A coin held between finger + thumb in the other hand. The heel of that hand as your kick drum
