The event sought to identify actionable pathways & policy frameworks for advancing gender equality and fostering transformative justice for African women and girls by leveraging existing frameworks including #BDPfA and #MaputoProtocol, and the recent #AUEVAWGConvention.
On this #IWD2025, we celebrate the determination of women in rural communities as co-creators and active contributors to the development of their nations. 30 years since #BDPfA, it is time to #AccelerateAction and turn existing policies into tangible action for meaningful change.
As we approach the 30th anniversary of #BDPfA, we reflect on the great strides made over the past 3 decades.
