Here is a good historical fact & reference showing #River_Tekeze is the border line for #Welkait (in #Begemder) and #Tigre/#Tigray. Western #Tigray is the land after crossing the #River_Tekeze & doesn't incorporate #Welkait, #Tegede, #Telemt & #Humera. Thanks to @EthioHeritage
