4 years after I fought about this & Andy Burnham agreed to a trial this is getting beyond ridiculous!!

Why!!! It happens in so many places across Europe - why aren’t we striking for at the very least equity. Aim middling is not quite the slogan that should sum up GM! 🙄🥺

This is the worst of it - comments of needing to modify much to run the trial but is this actually the reality? I am deeply distressed about this decision. #BikesOnTrams is a really important stop & one I feel we have squandered. I wasn’t invited, as promised, to consult though!
Keonis operate the Bombardier Flexity model trams in Manchester and Ontario. One city allows carriage of 🚴, the other doesn’t. The operator CAN do this if it wants to. @AndyBurnhamGM

When I was midlands based I looked at travel to Brum, I needed to drive to station as no other route there, pay parking & then for even a short journey the train was prohibitively expensive. It’s so bloody depressing when you see Germany! Who also have #BikesOnTrams

It is a very short walk from this beautiful village to the park - but the road that needs to be crossed is quite dangerous, which is a great shame as the park is such a wonderful local resource.
