## 📍 Where are we now? Today, every BPP-9000 network has 64 neurons. Each neuron reads three neighbors and decides what to do based on its own rule table. Miners can change three things: the network's starting state, the neurons' connections and the rule tables. The networks take no outside input and work on a single task: a year of hourly Bitcoin direction data. Each identity is ranked by the single best network it finds during the epoch. When the epoch ends, the best networks are exported for analysis, and in the next epoch every tree starts again from new roots. The system keeps moving forward every week. Epoch 235 brought two changes. The task data moved forward six months and now starts on July 1, 2025. The number of errors allowed for a network to advance to the next step also dropped from 2,920 to 2,190, so advancing now requires fewer mistakes.
