JUST IN: 🔔 Coinbase crypto exchange is launching their own wrapped Bitcoin token called cbBTC, which will be on the Base blockchain.
Base, which are ERC-20 tokens, aim to enhance scalability and reduce transaction fees while maintaining security. The introduction of cbBTC will allow Bitcoin holders to engage with decentralized finance (DeFi) applications with low fees and more efficiently using Base.
