I've been debating 3d plots, so as a test I re-rendered these #covid19 data in 3d, using incredible #rstats {rayshader} package by @tylermorganwall.
1. 3d considered #chartjunk
2. But, visual system is tuned for 3d
3. If data are (x, y, z), does 3d plot enhance interpretation?
I updated my heatmap of COVID-19 cases by age bracket in Florida, with data as of 14 July.
