@chris_notcapn True Story: met my husband at local sports porch hangout. The waitresses were his students in HS. Had three come tell me “he is a great guy, he NEVER meets women up here, please give him a shot.. great guy” 🤣🤣 They were correct 💕💕 #checkreferences 👍🏼

Yes. Always get at least three bids. Read our “Questions to Ask a Contractor”, take notes, go over scenarios. https://t.co/PfbQNEcKH7 #insurance #checkreferences #NoContractorScams

Another good example of just how easy “edu-fads” can take hold if people are not critical of the source of information. As a scientist in a previous life, I like to think I’m rigorous but when time-pressed things get missed...#checkreferences

Crafting a question that’d good enough to disqualify an applicant for a job is reasonable logic, but crafting one for a reference who will “only say great things about the person - that’s why they’re a reference” can’t bring the same possible outcome? #CheckReferences #Always
