How many luxury hotels you know have a desire to start a literary salon? Earlier this week, I was delighted to kick off @Conrad_Pune #ConREAD — a monthly series for authors, thinkers & curious minds to connect through powerful conversations.📚 Spoke about my best-selling book 'Money Myths and Mantras: The Ultimate Investment Guide' with @ActusDei of @livemint who had his quizmaster hat 🤠 on. Was followed by a lively Q&A and book signing. Met quite a few of my Pune fans More signed copies of the book are available with @JerajaniRohit of Rohit Express, the 80 year old book shop. If you are elsewhere, there is always Amazon. Any boost to books and book reading is always close to my heart. Rather parochially I am partly attributing the roots of this initiative to the fact that both Abhishek Sahai, the general manager and Sandeep Kaul, the commercial head of Conrad are from Lucknow (as I was delighted to discover) 😄 Else, how many luxury hotels do you know who have ambition on the literary side? Kuch to home town culture ka asar hai ki nahi? Wishing Conrad all the best in the initiative and hope to join sometime again - maybe if they have a session on Hindi literature. #books
