The crap gap, also known as the wearing-off effect, happens between intravenous infusions of multiple sclerosis (MS) medications. Learn more about which infusions have a crap gap and what to expect during this time:https://t.co/L979OOcPP4
Neck MRI, still waiting on the nurses contacting me about weird pains in my head/neck so I wonder if this will show anything or not? Roll on infusion on Friday cos this #crapgap is testing me 🥴🫨
Get the #CrapGap?
That wearing off time between Ocrevus infusions when ur MS symptoms seem to ramp up?
A study has found the natural variability of MS is the likely cause - not Ocrevus timing.
But study was small/short duration.

#crapgap has knocked me for 6 tonight, out of nowhere. Thank god I only have to wait til Thursday. #MS
#gallbladder Pre op assessment tomorrow first tho and of course, the real reason I took tomorrow off work. hubBAE’s birthday 🥳🥳
Got my next #ocrevus in a months time and def starting to feel more aches and pains... I just thank Goddess that I can get this treatment #ppmssucks #ppms I can’t even imagine where I would be without it as I was so unwell before I started it 🙏🙏#crapgap
Less than a week to my #ocrevus infusion & it can’t come soon enough! I’ve noticed the longer I am on it, it lasts longer and takes me closer to the next infusion. (The initial #crapgap was maybe 3 months in.) But when that crap gap hits, it’s over it’s for me! #msisexhausting
It's getting real‼️
My new DMT has arrived. I'm switching from #Ocrevus to #Kesimpta. Instead of every 6 months in a big dose at an infusion center for most of the day, this is a self administered injection I give myself monthly.

So frustrated.
▪️I know the words, just not right now.
▪️I easily get overwhelmed by too many noises or things happening at once.
▪️I can't focus on any 1 task, my mind wanders & goes blank.
So yes, Pooh, my mind is full of fluff, too

Honestly this week I honestly noticed how many times my brain has ok’d my terrible grammar and spelling . This Ocrevus Crap Gap really has me #ocrevus #MultipleSclerosis #crapgap
I’m a week out from my infusion & #CrapGap is showing its ugly head. It’s nice to feel some positive results!
In particular, with regard to fatigue. Not helping my balance, vertigo, or pain. But the fact that it’s helping with my fatigue is awesome.
@PrincessMS23 @SSmith1323 Thank you. Yes, I’m currently on Ocrevus and it been a godsend for me. It seems to stop progression for about 4.5 months. Progression returns from then until my next infusion at 6 months. What I lose during that month & a half, I lose for good. #PPMS takes its toll. #CrapGap
@notronffej @MustStopMS Jeff, Actually, I first learned about #CrapGap from one of my MS patients. One of the most important jobs of a #MS doc is to listen!
@notronffej @MustStopMS @drbarrysinger I feel the #CrapGap every time this far. Only on 3rd full but still that's 3x and the gap seems to happen sooner and sooner now... 😔
