This is so important... the availability & energy spent during dedication during #crisislearning this Spring cannot be sustained, this Fall we need to be flexible yet set serious boundaries for the health & safety of ourselves and our families
Teachers, you are not working from home, but you are home working during a pandemic. Just because you are home doesn't mean you are available or need to work 24/7. I know you will make adjustments for students' families, but make time for your family too, even if it is just you!
Thereโs enough policing and surveillance of studentsโ bodies in physical school; no need for this in remote settings.

What we are doing is #PandemicPedagogy. Itโs #CrisisLearning. Itโs what weโve had to do. Anyone with good online programs or courses knows it takes mindful design- & the time to do it. @QMProgram @K12QM & our members are devoted to this for our #students.
What is happening in k-12 schools is NOT Intentionally designed-online learning. It is remote access, emergency digital learning. The only way we would have online learning is if Educators had the time & prod learning to develop online learning environments/ resources. We didnโt.
