At a #dalstonward meeting just 3 weeks ago residents & business owners asked, yet again, for help as gang trouble was clearly brewing in #gilletsquare. @hackneycouncil ignored us, Councillor @PeterSnell11 derided us, now a man is dead, desperate times @SadiqKhan @metpoliceuk
Tragic news: a man was shot dead in #GillettSquare last night. Whatever the circumstances, the failure of @MPSDalston & @hackneycouncil to address years of rampant #crime #drugdealing & #gangs in #dalston has led us to this.
