$1.3 trillion could transform sub-saharan Afica's infrastructure, social services, and overall quality of life. It’s more than enough to move the needle in nearly every sector—education, healthcare, transportation, and beyond.
This is HOW MUCH #DEADAID we have received in the last 3 decades.
We should have:
• Infrastructure Boom
• Pave thousands of kilometers of roads to connect rural areas.
• Build new rail networks and upgrade ports for faster trade.
• Clean Water & Sanitation
• Fund large-scale water treatment and delivery systems.
• Provide reliable sanitation and reduce waterborne diseases.
• Healthcare Revolution
• Construct and equip modern hospitals and clinics.
• Train medical professionals, expand vaccination programs, and invest in health research.
• Education & Skills Development
• Build schools and universities, especially in under-served regions.
• Support teacher training, scholarships, and tech-based learning initiatives.
• Agricultural Modernization
• Introduce irrigation systems, modern machinery, and better crop varieties.
• Reduce food insecurity and promote sustainable farming practices.
• Green Energy & Power Stability
• Fund solar, wind, and hydro projects to reduce reliance on fossil fuels.
• Expand national grids, providing electricity to remote communities.
• Digital Connectivity
• Roll out broadband infrastructure for remote towns and villages.
• Bridge the digital divide, fostering job creation in tech and online services.
• Entrepreneurship & Job Creation
• Provide seed funding for SMEs and startups, spurring innovation.
• Create millions of direct and indirect jobs in construction, tech, services, and manufacturing.
• Regional Integration
