The EFF Youth Command in Limpopo remains dissatisfied with the response it received over its call for urgent intervention over #Deterioratinginfrastructure at Dumela High School in Julesburg. The party intervened after learners protested earlier this month and they gave the Limpopo Department of Education until the 26th of August to respond to their demand for the construction and maintenance of classrooms, but says no response has been received till date. EFF Youth Command provincial coordinator Modidima Sekhwela says instead officials from the provincial Transport and Community Safety department visited the school and handed over 36 bicycles to learners a few days after their protest. He says the bicycles do not address the broader challenges, as many learners travel long distances and the bicycles are not enough, while matriculants are currently writing trial examinations in poor conditions.
