There are 481 residential care homes in the #devonSTP. The @DevonCC #ProviderEngagementNetwork Reference Group is a provider committee to reflect issues - I’m elected to represent 141 in the Eastern locality we are doing a mapping exercise to reach out to support all homes 1/2

While the #nhs worries about health workforce, the biggest recruitment challenge by far is the projected need for 580,000 additional social care workers by 2035 to keep pace with population ageing.
Without a sustainable plan for this, there will be no sustainable health system.
