#Digfeer was already a legend before #Erdoğan’s name ever entered the picture.
I was treated there for free once when I broke my leg while playing football in the Kaasa-Bolbolare neighborhood.
Built in the 1960s, Digfeer became one of #Somalia’s Mogadishu most historic hospitals. Türkiye later stepped in to renovate and modernize it, and after the reconstruction, the hospital was renamed @RTErdogan Hospital.
And here's the real debate: renovating a hospital is one thing—replacing the name and legacy it carried for decades is another.
You can rebuild the walls without rewriting the history.
Respect the help, but don’t erase the heritage. 👀🇸🇴

The hospital, one of East Africa’s leading healthcare institutions in terms of capacity and technological infrastructure, serves approximately 6,000 patients and performs 100 surgeries every month.

Paid a short visit to #Digfeer Hospital to assess the gaps and needs exist in the hospital and look for possible cooperation mechanisms to improve the delivery of health services.
Communication at #Digfeer hospital is zero, no one can explain you patient status. Everything is done at full speed. parents deserve to know everything related to their patients
