So I completed Mac Anu. Some parts of the buildings and shadows look a lil off as the image I used had dark spots I had to fill with already available tiles. It did slow the launch a bit, but I need to test more

I love #Godot man. I was so prepared to try and code this from scratch and the camera just worked right away. Needd tweaking, sure, but what I thought would be more involved was literally as simple as clicking the right Node.

Changed the replay condition to load back into the sprites. One I learn the proper structure for save stating, we'll have ourselves a game in progress

A debugging habit I've had since school is to have every interaction print something. This way I know the code is at least reaching it. That said interact button still needs work but NPC chats on collision now

I cant make pixel art to save my life but working with them is much easier than I expected. Created collision and an "Action" button. Just need to get dialoge working then we are in business

So the ultimate goal will be that you pick your Avatar, roam around a couple maps and battle NPCs. I dont know if I want to push a story or not but that can be decided later
