In DramaSystem, the Hillfolk rules engine, you create your character by specifying dramatic poles. This internal conflict drives behavior and gives the flexibility to give in or stand your ground during emotional conflict scenes while still retaining consistent characterization.

This is a clever idea! It feels particularly thematically appropriate for the #Hillfolk #TTRPG, or any #DramaSystem #RPG session.
#RPG mechanic idea inspired by this chat: when an observer feels a scene between characters is done, they start to hum transition music. As more people agree, the music builds and swells, cueing the players to wrap up the scene and move on...
This game is based on #hillfolk by @RobinDLaws & @PelgranePress, one of my most favorite publishers. It's been a super fun journey to navigate utilizing remote tech to create a new way of running the #dramasystem.
