The #DTWF2 Colloquium was certainly a blast, and I am really glad that I get to present my personal research and the work that we are doing in the @popradem project! @BenjaminDeCleen @JanaGoyvaerts and Max Grönegräs, thank you and again, respect for the Colloquium!
After arriving 5 hours late & 40 minutes into my own panel session 😅, i still had an AMAZING time at the 2nd edition of Discourse Theory: Ways Forward. Yes, I still got to present @RebeccaWarrenDr and my @actdemos research paper 🙌 Thank you DESIRE! #DTWF2
In the last series of panels, we had a discussion on antipopulism with Sebastián Ronderos presenting the Brazilian case, @JanaGoyvaerts talking about how the word "populism" circulates, and Savvas Voutyras debating the relationship between liberalism and antipopulism. #DTWF2
An inspiring panel brought @LKaravasilis, @BenjaminDeCleen and Yannis Stavrakakis together to talk about elites, the populism of the privileged and the relevance of psychosocial approaches to studying populist discourses. #DTWF2
We had great presentations on Critical Fantasy Studies by @cjimenavg, @ClaudiaMohor, Joshua Hurtado and @bolandeira, who discussed the strategies for doing research in psychoanalysis and politics. #DTWF2
Yannis Stavrakakis chaired a panel with @TPA_Jacobs, Freddie Larden and @Jonathan_M_Dean on the left, populism, political strategies and many, many memes. #DTWF2
The event started with in-depth presentations by Allan Dreyer Hansen, Carola Schoor and @AdriaPortaC on the ontological debates in Discourse Theory and the notions of void and emptiness. #DTWF2
The keynotes of the conference were @dr_eklundh and @ProfAFinlayson, who gave provocative and inspiring presentations. Emmy argued that left-wing populism in Europe ends up reaffirming colonial dynamics. Alan discussed reactionary rhetoric on digital social media! #DTWF2

The #DTWF2 Colloquium was absolutely amazing! As POPRADEM we would like to thank @BenjaminDeCleen ,@JanaGoyvaerts and Max Grönegräs for giving @MartinNonhoff @LKaravasilis and Seongcheol Kim, the opportunity to present our project in a most engaging panel!
#dtwf2 was 🔥🔥 2 days with top discourse theory research; 2 presentations with the best co-authors; and great moments with the DT community at and around the conference. Thanks to all the DESIRE team @BenjaminDeCleen @JanaGoyvaerts and Max Grönegräs, you smashed it!

I presented a paper introducing to the world the method I developed in my thesis to analyse political events from a theatrical perspective: the political performance analysis questionnaire (PPAQ)

To conclude #DTWF2, @ProfAFinlayson developed in his closing keynote a detailed overview of the rhetoric of reactionary politics. Here emphasising the importance of framing reactionary content as a 'revelation' of truth
The final panel I attended before the closing keynote focuses on anti-populism. Great range of complementary papers by Savvas Voutyras, Sebastian Ronderos, Raylene Abdilla and of course the amazing @JanaGoyvaerts who is also the best organiser we could have wished for #DTWF2
