Overall, 145 countries voted in favor, and #AZE 🇦🇿 among them. The #US, #Canada, #Hungary voted against. Interestingly, that 🇦🇿 actively maneuvers between 🇮🇱and 🇸🇩, without stirring diplomatic crisis on both ends. For example, 🇦🇿 FM Jeyhun Bayramov yesterday announced that #Baku will keep sending humanitarian aid to #Palestine.

#Nebenzia: Our position on the Palestinian-Israeli settlement remains unchanged. We need to uphold the legitimate right of Palestinians to having an independent state in 1967 borders with the capital in #EasternJerusalem, which'll live side by side with 🇮🇱 in peace & security.

#Polyanskiy: Given relative stabilization around the #GazaStrip after Israel’s military operation in August 2022, tension in the #WestBank remains rather strong. After the Israeli blockade & raids in Jenin, cleansing began in Nablus and Shu’fat refugee camp in #EasternJerusalem.

#Nebenzia: We closely follow the developments in the #WestBank and #EasternJerusalem in the context of clashes at Al-Aqsa mosque compound which already resulted in 152 Palestinians sustaining wounds after 🇮🇱security forces used tear gas & rubber bullets to contain the protestors.

סיכומי משרד הבריאות הפלסטיני והסהר האדום: 205 פצועים. 83 מאושפזים באלמקאסד רובם מפגיעת כדורי ספוג. 2 במצב קשה בשל פגיעה בראש, 3 נפגעו בעיניים 1 מהם איבד את עינו. 2 עם שברים בלסת. השאר קל.
