That's the highest monthly yield this year, despite it being "Regulation State 2" 16.3% of the time. The fact that there was a lot to be gained from imbalance is also due to the trend of last year (see graph with the comparison below). In December, we started controlling batteries. Historically, that turned out to be one of the worst months to trade on passive imbalance. Fortunately, our customers now earn (very) much more with their batteries.🔋 The graph with the yellow trend line shows the development of imbalance prices over the past few years. This shows that spreads are getting higher and higher. This month, the price for export was even above € 2.40 per kWh five times, which means that we can discharge the batteries for € 2.40 per kWh. The highest peaks in June were € 2.50 per kWh (which happened twice). This has only happened before on January 24, 2024, but then it was regulation state 2. Fortunately, our customers have benefited a lot from it this month. The earnings are based on historical data from May with a stand-alone 1 MW / 2 MWh battery with 100% depth of discharge.
