We are wrapping up our long ago unit of study by sharing what we’ve learned. Students did additional research on a certain long ago topic (clothes, school, transportation, games) and are sharing it in a variety of ways. Students are hard at work on their projects! #engagingwork

We are finishing up our unit on weather. One way we celebrate our knowledge is by using the green screen @FLBulldogs! Students reported out information about severe weather. Students then used this knowledge to think about weather patterns and tools. #engagingwork

We celebrated the end of Unit 1 Reading by transforming our classroom into "Starbooks" for the day. ☕️Students worked to create a book tasting for books they enjoyed throughout our first unit. Students retold many important aspects of the stories. It was a great day!#engagingwork
WIN block is a time of day @FLBulldogs where there is no new instruction. Teachers meet with small groups of students to address intervention and enrichment needs. My students who are not in a group work on a WIN choice board. Options include ELA and Math focuses. #engagingwork

Today we closed our Economics unit with Shopping Day! Students worked in teams to create products and have the hands-on experience of being both a producer and a consumer. They worked so hard and were all smiles along the way! #engagingwork #studentchoice #authenticlearning
Today was our marketplace. Students prepared their food trucks by creating a menu, prices, and practicing different combinations of orders. This morning students circulated to each other’s food trucks to buy and sell different products. #thebulldogway #engagingwork @FLBulldogs
