PARADOX LIQUIDITY BRIDGE - DEVELOPMENT UPDATE - WEEK 4 Over the past three weeks, our focus has been on the Paradox Liquidity Bridge, encompassing the conceptualization of the protocol's architecture to testing the first iteration of smart contracts. However, the hybrid nature of ERC425 presented several challenges as we navigated through different designs for each component of the protocol. While the core protocol remains unchanged, we made several adjustments to accommodate edge cases related to the hybridization of ERC-1155 and ERC-20 standards in Paradox's ERC-425. Building something new and unique entails undergoing multiple iterations for the smart contracts, which has resulted in a longer development cycle than initially anticipated. Although we didn't meet the deadlines for deliveries, we want to assure the community that the final delivery will exceed expectations and revolutionize the NFT space by providing liquidity to illiquid NFT holders. Today, we deployed the contracts for wrapping the ERC425 NFTs. Through this process, users will receive a wrapped and locked NFT with identical ID, characteristics, metadata, and assets. While owners can utilize this NFT anywhere, they cannot transfer or sell it on any marketplace. However, they can unwrap it and reclaim the original NFT if there is no lien on the NFT by the vault contract.
