گزارش‌های منتشرشده در ۹ اسفند ۱۴۰۴ نشان می‌دهد در #زندان_اوین توزیع غذا در بند زنان و بند ۷ متوقف شده است. فروشگاه زندان تعطیل است و زندانیان به مایحتاج اولیه دسترسی ندارند. بخشی از کارکنان محل را ترک کرده‌اند و خانواده‌ها مقابل زندان پاسخی روشن درباره وضعیت عزیزان خود دریافت نکرده‌اند. این اتفاقات در شرایط تنش نظامی رخ داده و هم‌زمان اجرای مصوبه ۲۱۱ شورای عالی قضایی درباره آزادی یا انتقال زندانیان در وضعیت جنگی در وضعیتی مبهم باقی مانده است.
در حقوق عمومی یک قاعده روشن وجود دارد: وقتی حکومت آزادی فردی را سلب می‌کند، مسئولیت کامل جان و سلامت او را می‌پذیرد. زندانی تحت کنترل مطلق حاکمیت است و هیچ امکان مستقلی برای تأمین نیازهای اولیه یا دفاع از خود ندارد. قطع غذا و انسداد ارتباط با خانواده نقض تعهدی است که خود قدرت با بازداشت ایجاد کرده است. بر اساس میثاق حقوق مدنی و سیاسی و قواعد حداقلی رفتار با زندانیان، کرامت و سلامت افراد تحت بازداشت قابل تعلیق نیست. در شرایط جنگی این مسئولیت سنگین‌تر می‌شود زیرا مقام بازداشت‌کننده موظف است خطر را کاهش دهد و از افرادی که کاملاً در اختیار او هستند حفاظت کند.
در ساختاری که قدرت خود را فراتر از نظارت ملت تعریف می‌کند، حقوق انسان به موضوعی ثانویه تبدیل می‌شود و اولویت با حفظ اقتدار است. زندانی در چنین سیستمی به یک «پرونده امنیتی» تقلیل می‌یابد نه یک انسان دارای حق. وقتی پاسخگویی واقعی و نظارت مستقل وجود نداشته باشد، هر بحران بیرونی به سرعت به ابزار تشدید کنترل در درون تبدیل می‌شود. آنچه در اوین شاهد آن هستیم نشانه همان منطقی است که در آن مصونیت قدرت بر جان انسان تقدم پیدا می‌کند.

#Armenian #Christian Hakop Gochumyan turns 37 today. It's his 3rd birthday behind bars, having been in #Tehran's #Evin_Prison since his arrest in August 2023, when he has detained alongside his wife, Elisa, who is the daughter of a famous Iranian-Armenian pastor.
Hakop was later sentenced to 10 years in prison for “engaging in deviant proselytising activity that contradicts the sacred law of #Islam” through alleged membership & leadership of “a network of #evangelical #Christianity”.
After his 2nd application for a retrial was rejected, Hakop published a letter calling his imprisonment “unfair” & the charges “unfounded”.
An informed source told #Article18 his conviction was based only on his possession of 7 #Persian-language #Bibles & having visited 2 Armenian #churches & a Persian-language #house_church while on holiday in Iran.

«After the bombing of #evin_prison & during our transfer to Greater Tehran Prison, we saw more than 150 bodies were lined up in special body bags.
It was dark, but I counted around 150 corpses but other inmates said they counted even more.
The destroyed yard of the prison was full of NOPO forces (Iran’s elite anti-riot police).
That night, they transferred us to Greater Tehran Prison with handcuffs & shackles. It was very hard to walk because we prisoners were chained together.
Now here in Greater Tehran Prison, we are also in the worst possible conditions ».
