He had a whole speech prepared for his proposal and it still ended up a total disaster, have you ever had a moment go this wrong? #proposalfail #weddingtalk #podcastclips #failstories #relationshipgoals

Landlord thought they'd simply scam another few tenants with a BS "cleaning fee." Fortunately, these tenants decided to fight back with smart and effective revenge. Better believe that the landlord is kicking himself now, to the tune of $6,000. Via @Failblog #Fail #FailStories

Personal #failstories 2: Had to maintain a software while main dev was on holiday. The system was super slow. There was some "reindex" button. Pressed it. What can go wrong? System was down for 4 hours while reindexing 🤦. Learned: don't add buttons to make a system unavailable

Personal #failstories 1: hunted down a bug once, developed a fix, wrote a test, deployed to a dev system. Quick check via UI but the bug was still there. Attached the debugger. No breakpoint reached. Did things for hours. Realized that I deployed to the wrong dev system 🤦

Lischer-Katz: 3D VR rare books might yield a new genre of "coding stories": what happened when YOU tried to make 3D models of rare books? >> #failstories I would totally read! And I also have one ... #sharp19

OK Knowledge Managers and friends! I need three stories that tell of leaders who failed because they didn’t respect the level of detail in their situations. Go! #KM #Complexity #FailStories

Ok, here's one of my #failstories. I went to passage cells and when I put them under the microscope, I counted only 3 cells... I was off by a factor of 20 😂 #ASV2018 #LoveVirology
