#CachingCountdown 11 / Say it with us: When in doubt, cache it out. Caching is so easy now with #serverless services (well, as long as we're not talking #fauxserverless). If there is something that even has a chance of overwhelming your existing datastore, cache it!

Yep. So close, but still #FauxServerless. That said, I am not sure how else they could attempt this with OpenSearch and still make money.

@NoSQLKnowHow @quizout It’s closer to saying their baby is actually an adult rather than ugly. Some #fauxserverless services can be great. They just need to not pretend it’s #serverless

This deserves a second retweet. @jeremy_daly makes a solid case for Neptune offering #fauxserverless, including the $290/month minimum price tag (before replication). It’s actually even worse: if you stop it, it automatically restarts and starts charging you in 7 days.
