My bride performed in high school plays with #ChristopherReeve, and she adored him. I took a #poetry workshop with his father, the #poet/translator #FDReeve, who was an awful person & teacher. I later became friendly with his sister-in-law, a wonderful doctor who worked with me in the biotech industry.

@anniefinchpoet I took that class the year you before you did, but was pretty clueless & overwhelmed. I thought referring to the women as "my dear" was creepy, but didn't see the bigger picture. It was more obvious for me with #FDReeve, who taught once a year at Yale only to prey on the women.

My bride acted in a high school play with #ChristopherReeve & adored him. I took a class from his womanizing father, #poet/#translator #FDReeve, who was a wretched teacher & person. I worked a little bit in the 90's with #DanaReeve's sister, a wonderful & talented doctor.

Christopher Reeve (always Superman) and wife Dana Reeve, in happier times. Chris died at 52 years old in 2004 and Dana after looking after Chris tirelessly for 9 years, after he became quadriplegic in 1995, died at 44 years old in 2006.
