Just found out I’m in this boat as my #ffel loans are commercially owned. Apparently there were always options to federally consolidate, but no advice (sharing the info would lead to exactly the kind of lawsuits now blocking people like me from receiving #studentloanforgiveness).
After FFEL borrowers got cut out of relief, I heard from so many... I decided to do a story centering their voices.
