Can't wait for Logo Summer Institute 2022 to begin. It was like Christmas morning opening up my finch flock. Session 1 @HummingTom #finchrobot2 #summerPD #STEM
Hey, STEM colleagues…who uses the @birdbraintech #FinchRobot2 in their instruction? Share your favorite ways to integrate it with students! #TalawandaEmpowers
Don't know what to do today? How about learning more about AI with #FinchRobot2 and @SnapCloud - new lessons here! @birdbraintech https://t.co/LMKxTknW0o
A new spin on an old favorite (pun intended)! Finch dance with pose recognition in @SnapCloud - you assume a dance pose, and #FinchRobot2 does the corresponding dance. @birdbraintech
I’m teaching #FinchRobot2 to do the Charleston - it is somewhat hampered by its lack of arms, but it is enthusiastic and has pretty good rhythm. @birdbraintech
Machine learning with @SnapCloud and #FinchRobot2! I trained a Google Teachable Machine to recognize three different images, and then I incorporated the model into my Snap! program. Sound on! @birdbraintech
One step in this week's project was to write my own @SnapCloud block to play a song given by a list of notes and durations. This #FinchRobot2 will demonstrate for you - be sure to turn the sound on! @birdbraintech
Want to learn to use #FinchRobot2 with Python? @HummingTom has made a course for you! I helped but refused to appear on video. @birdbraintech
To celebrate Back to School, we've partnered with @CSisElementary @Raspberry_Pi and @BirdBrainTech on new content for the Pathfinders Online Institute to help teachers enhance their #CSEd skills! Learn more here: https://t.co/X3fFWULTMH.

I am very pleased that I found giant graph paper ruled in centimeters. Perfect for a #FinchRobot2 coordinated grid! @birdbraintech
Now, so that we all recognize the shortcomings of machine learning, here are some takes where it does not work as well! I'm not sure what the words "go" and "squirrel" have in common, but my model cannot distinguish them. #FinchRobot2 @SnapCloud @birdbraintech
Trying a little machine learning - turn the sound on and see my #FinchRobot2 controlled speech recognition in @SnapCloud! I trained a Google Teachable Machine for the word "go." @birdbraintech

New activity for using #FinchRobot2 on the number line! If the Finch starts at 73 cm, how far does it need to move to end at 98 cm? @birdbraintech

Working on some new #FinchRobot2 activities - like using the Finch to demonstrate equivalent fractions! @birdbraintech
Thinking about using #FinchRobot2 in elementary math? Make a number line that corresponds to FinchBlox level 1! Where will the robot land if it starts on 7, moves backward for 3 blocks, and then moves forward for 4 blocks? @birdbraintech
Used @moenig’s tutorial with @SnapCloud to make #FinchRobot2 respond to sketches! Great introduction to how AI works inside the box. @birdbraintech
I used Google Teachable Machine and Python to teach #FinchRobot2 to recognize when I am wearing my glasses. Also a good example of the limitations of machine learning - it fails when I raise my hand because that wasn't in the training data!
