Met an attending in a group of residents today. When he shook everyone’s hand he repeated everyone’s name (4 others) except mine. I try to believe race/ethnicity doesn’t mean standing out in my workplace, but sometimes it feels so apparent #diversity #medicine #foreignnames

Every time I type my name, it autocorrects it to ankle. E.g. Hey Ankle, how are you doing? My ankle's fine actually but I'm not thanks to autocorrect!🤦🏾‍♀️#foreignnames #autocorrect
