So we might be about to see India knocked out of the #T20WorldCup due to the reuslt of a game they're not playing in, possibly due to Afghanistan recklessly gunning for a big but currently unknowable NRR target, leaving India with just a dead rubber to play.

Lot of #formatchat in my mentions so a few thoughts on the proposed ICC tournaments. Firstly, it is kind-of amazing how the ICC consistently manages to choose formats that don't cut it for interest. Guaranteed games are a killer for good formats but that is the choice.
So after a bit of MS paint, two suggested 14-team formats that aren't terrible. Both use the Australian Football League/RobotWars Series 10 finals format, instead of the abomination that is Super6s>Semis.

@cricketeersnz @tickerscricket I dislike the giant single round robin intensely, and not just because it excludes so many teams. It is a crap format for a tournament and doesn't actually do what its defenders claim it does at all... (1/lots)
