Attending the #FutureofGrading last week has me thinking about how ungrading & the removal of all deadlines will disadvantage many neuro diverse students & how faculty of colour always get the most pushback fr students when shifting pedagogy.
The status quo in #highered accepts the contradiction between 1) trying to help every student learn well and 2) ranking them for the benefit of future educational institutions and employers. I am committed to my students.
