A less comedy aspect to this is that there will have been a four month gap in public scrutiny by November, despite premises of a 'regular performance report' about GMP, in public. Define regular.

There was no error, mixup or misinterpretation, if it was he’d have alluded to it and everything would have been made clear. This was, as pointed out at the #GraingerInquiry… A smokescreen, revealing an organisation that is rotten to its core!

A calculated lie. It wasn’t inexplicable, it was what we’ve come to expect from them. @policeconduct were told about it when #IPCC, we’ve also seen the lengths they’ll go to to deceive in #GraingerInquiry. Wave after wave of lies and unaccountability.

This wasn't an off the cuff remark or mistaken comment in interview, this was former GMP Chief Con @CCIanHopkins & his Deputy Ian Pilling, who is still in post, making a written submission to the Kerslake review into the Arena bombing, in which THEY LIED! Action MUST be taken!

The fact @AndyBurnhamGM & @CCIanHopkins aren’t being grilled by @CommonsHomeAffs says more about @YvetteCooperMP than anything else. A force in Special Measures, exposed as incompetent in #GraingerInquiry & #McrArena et al needs to explain why.

#GraingerInquiry Steve Heywood lied, went off sick, GMP didn’t act on the seriousness of what he did. Misconduct Hearing ordered, PSB delayed & engineered a scheme to achieve a NFA outcome. Ian Pilling oversaw this omnishambles, now he’s CC!

You’ll recall GMP said it would hold a Misconduct Hearing for #SteveHeywood post #GraingerInquiry. That statement was sanctioned by @CCIanHopkins. To date, over one year later, no such hearing has taken place. Half-Truth, line managed by @AndyBurnhamGM.

@Whistleblowerat @AndyBurnhamGM @patel4witham 1.The only MP who has flagged up @gmpolice is @CGreenUK who raised #iFlops with @patel4witham at #HASC. The Arena bomb inquiry should lift stone on GMPs dysfunctional leadership of #NWCTU. @ukhomeoffice may then start to join dots re #Grainger #OpHolly & all other GMP scandals.

@uPSDGMP @GMPFederation £100m aside for now. It’s interesting to note this officer went on zero pay at the lowest rank in the service. Conversely, the village idiot caught up in #GraingerInquiry lies, ACC Steve Heywood, remained on full pay while on the run from the truth.
