Even though this temple is technically in Anantapur district, AP now, this century-old temple was built by Kannadigas. As you can see, some of the stone roof pillars have Kannadiga donor names and was built in 1941. Even now, temple receipts are in Kannada. Ballari belonged to Kannada Nadu even before independence, and the surrounding border villages are still majority Kannadigas. 👊 #Ballari #Bellary
