@FlohOfWoe that's awesome! I might just use that for #inasm64 to emulate avx2 instructions when they're not supported by the hw. Now all I need is the corresponding avx512 implementation, but that might even be something I'll attempt myself...and contribute to Evan's work :)

I'm learning so much about modern #assembly from integrating @mjcharney 's XED encoder with #inasm64 - crazy how many instructions there are on modern hw that you never ever "see" until you dig that deep.

ISPC is the reason why I started writing #inasm64 in the first place, so that I can play around with some of the strange magic that it produces and understand it better!

Hey all, if you use ISPC (and we know there’s a lot of you, incl. other IHVs) then give @pbrubaker @jon_c_kennedy and @jeffamstutz a quick heads up on what you’re using it for. Will help others and also reinforce this important ability for simt approach to all simd processors :)

the nice thing about my #inasm64 project is that it is forcing me to get properly back into #intel #ia64 #assemblylanguage ...and wowzers has it grown since the last time I did anything serious with it...I feel like a kid in a candy store

most pleased that I managed to get basic integration with Intel's XED encoder working for #inasm64 today, it's a very comprehensive #assembler and not entirely trivial to use, but I'm getting there! #hhcib
