Today, before the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, and other top government officials from various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, we launched INTERAS —Interior Electronic Records and Archival System. #INTERAS, being an Enterprise Content Management System, is designed to advance our country’s digital governance drive in line with the #RenewedHope vision of President @officialABAT Tinubu (GCFR) who mandated all Ministries to automate their processes before December 31st, 2025. For us in the Ministry of Interior, this automation of our old paper-filing system is not in isolation, as it adds to the series of similar automation projects we have since embarked upon under the #RenewedHope administration including but not limited to our passport application, VISA, Landing/Exist Card, and most recently our CERPAC administration. To my team led by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Magdalene Ajani and Directors of various departments, I acknowledge your efforts and sacrifices in making this launch yet another success. It is such a beautiful thing to see us work together as an indomitable team. And, as we begin to adapt this technology to enhance and catalyse our operations, it is my hope that we will use it judiciously in a transparent manner to serve Nigerians better.
