#ITF17 speaker: Political syndicates in China and Russia are increasingly entwined. China has growing capacity to play Russian oligarchs like a marionette puppet. India needs to wake up to that fact. Will make a major mistake if it thinks Russia will help balance China in future.

India-Europe cooperation:
Strategic cooperation, particularly with France, moving fast.
With EU, cooperation on multilateralism, sustainable development, digital economy, connectivity are priorities.
Still, very few in EU get India, and very few in India get the EU.
