What is an IT Quality Management System?
It’s a structured approach to quality initiatives that target different quality dimensions—not just improvements, but also the intentional reduction of quality or complexity in activities that have lost relevance.
#itQMS
Most systems are nonlinear, so continual improvement is not applicable. At a certain point improvement effort is consuming more resources than potential gains.
Proper quality management is capable to identify this balance and refocus on other system component.

Most metrics used in IT management are reactive, describing IT as a passive service provider responding to incidents, requests, SLA breaches, change requests.
Yet people in IT spend most of their time to proactively improve IT quality through wide quality management effort
#itQMS
