Update on #itslaunchday ☕ Signups - 97 signups so far - had to block a few vc-backed startups trying to get in - 42 people confirmed payment and reserved their spot in the next batches - track it here https://t.co/d4OWgGy0IF Ideas to get traffic - limit to one LaunchDay per week at a surprise time to create engagement (only participants of the batch will know ahead of time) - ask participants of the batch to give a special discount that is only available to active members of the community (people who vote and give feedback on products) → this gives people an incentive to check out every LaunchDay and look at every product to see if they might be interested in the discount - maybe this will end up in a mix between product hunt and app sumo?!, but without all the b.s and shady stuff. Mindset - my main talent is marketing and social media and i will use it to constantly find new ways to get traffic and growth to every product. - I think I found my mission / calling: help indie makers get more eyes on their product. This makes me happy and super energized (have trouble sleeping as my mind is racing all the time) - my twitter/x course makes $5k/mo again which covers all my expenses. This means I can dedicate all my time to this in the coming months. I'm only getting started.

Update on #itslaunchday ☕ Signups - 80 signups so far - if you didn't get an email from me it means you're probably not in the first batch - even if you're not in the first 10 you're still super early! will do other LaunchDays next week and after - sending an email to every sub with next steps soon Product / rules update - you CAN submit your product even if you're not twitter verified. Verification is only for voters to prevent bots and abuse - to avoid people just voting for famous makers, the idea is to give every voter 3 votes to spend per day. so they will hopefully look at other products to spend it - i updated the handicap you get depending on number of followers (it's an approximation since engagement cannot be predicted just with followers anymore) https://t.co/b8k9YXbIMg Idea on how to beat Product Hunt - We can't beat PH with seo but we can beat them with social media. The idea is to turn LaunchDay into a once or twice a week event, with different angles each time. So people talk about it and it goes viral often. Then people from outside social media will talk about it too and it grows. First LaunchDay is Friday 8AM EST.
