In Jableh's suburb Al-Rumayleh, a group of Islamist settlers brought in by STG authorities assaulted a group of Alawite men yesterday. The incident occured when an Alawite man complained to the Islamists that they're blocking his building's entrance and they should remove them, the Islamists responded by attacking the man and beating him before his kids who were traumatized by the scene of their father being attacked. Relatives of the man tried to stop the Islamists assault and they were also attacked.
According to reports, the barbaric attack left two men with severe injuries.
The locals called STG's security who came and "arrested" the Islamists but then released them soon after facing no legal repercussions.
Groups of Islamists settlers like this have become a very common thing across Syria. They're deployed to be STG's local thugs, to report on local communities and to act with unlimited violence when they see fit as part of STG's vision on how to keep control and subdue locals, especially in a minority dominated region.

This morning, the #JolaniRegime arrested retired #BrigadierGeneral_Pilot Sami Mahmoud after raiding his home in the village of #AlQalaye’, in the #Jableh countryside.
The brigadier general’s son said in a Facebook post that around 12 vehicles took part in the raid. He held the security authorities responsible for his father’s safety and for disclosing his whereabouts.

The kidnapping of a child named "Natali" from villages in #Jableh countryside by a group of Bedouins who were settled in state lands near Alawite villages for a year and a half, allegedly brought by "Hakim Al-Deiri."
The incident occurred after the child's father expelled their shepherds from his land. They then gathered information about him and the village with security checkpoints' cooperation and kidnapped the child.
Local youths intervened and forced the security forces and Bedouins to return her.
Security forces and Bedouins are reportedly seizing citizens' lands under threat and blackmail.

#WesternSyria | #Jableh: Footage showing the moment the 8-year-old Natalie Dakhil arrived in her village, hours after she was kidnapped from outside her family’s home in Al-Huwaiz village in rural Jableh this Monday morning.
Local platforms reported that armed men from Bedouin tribes were responsible for her abduction. The incident sparked widespread anger among residents, who blocked roads in protest.
No further details have yet emerged confirming the kidnappers’ identity or what led to the girl’s release. Some commentators suggested that public anger,and residents publicly naming the Bedouins as responsible, pushed the General Security militia to pressure them into releasing her.
A moving video circulated shortly before this report, showing villagers welcoming the girl back after her release, amid calls for the full details to be disclosed.
In a separate clip, the girl said a silver car with three people inside had taken her and beaten her feet with a stick.
Kidnappings and killings of civilians on a sectarian basis keep recurring along the coast, sparing neither women nor children, according to press and human rights reports, a pattern that has continued since the fall of the Assad regime at the end of 2024.
#Update: Thankfully Natalie has returned to her family following immense pressure from the local community despite the usual intimidation tactics employed by STG security forces.
However locals by the hundreds have flocked to her home and demand the perpetrators be brought to justice.

-The girl was taken from right outside her family’s home while her parents were out working their farmland.
-Bedouins had tried before to seize land from the Dakhil family and others nearby, grazing livestock on it and attempting to settle there, backed by their ties to the #HTS-led General Security militia. This happened as recently as yesterday, and again about ten days ago. Each time, villagers managed to stop them.
-Today it escalated: the Bedouins snatched the girl from outside her family’s house on the edge of the village. Witnesses saw their cars speeding away toward the Jableh–Latakia road.
-After villagers blocked the main road in protest, General Security militias sent five vehicles (one with a 23mm gun) into the village, apparently to intimidate them.

Tammam Hmaidy, a truck driver from Qutailabiyah in Rural Jableh, has been reported missing by his family.
His last known whereabouts are on the highway between Qutaifah and Homs.

Local sources report that Bilal Daoud was killed and his brother wounded when gunfire targeted them near their home in Falsaqu village, Jableh countryside.
The two brothers had defected from the former regime’s army years earlier. They had recently gone into hiding after a false report was filed against them, and had just returned home when the HTS-led General Security militias were tipped off.
A security force arrived at the village and executed Daoud in front of his house, wounding his brother, no clashes took place.
This account contradicts the official version, which claimed the killing occurred during clashes and the pursuit of a terrorist cell to justify the execution of the young man in the street.
Local sources reject that narrative entirely and confirmed no clashes occured at all, only a field execution.
Around the same time, official media reported clashes in Baabda village, (15 km south of Falsaqu) again denied by our sources, who say there were no clashes, killing or arrests, only a security deployment during which militia members fired shots into the air and staged photos for media purposes.

Following the controversy stirred by the circular issued of the incumbent director of General Authority for Fish Resources enforcing strict rules on female dress code, the ministry of agriculture decided to appoint a new director.
This however, was met with a stern refusal by the incumbent director who released a statement refusing to obey. He claims he was appointed by the interim president and the president is the only one who holds the authority to remove him.
This sheds a light on the attitude and mentality of those in administrative positions treating these offices as personal fiefdoms and their complete refusal to adhere to normal authority and hierarchy, only the "Shiekh Julani" holds the higher power in their eyes.
