At JW slumber party one of my friends told me that her dad didn’t allow her to use tampons bc it would mean she wasn’t a virgin anymore...🤮 #exjw #jwtales #jwstories

When I was 15 I was in my bed half asleep and felt like I was being held down and unable to make a sound. For years I thought it had been a demon turns out it was just sleep paralysis 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 #jwtales #sleepparalysis #demons

My mom gave my aunt (her sister-in-law) a very expensive bag as a gift once. Her sister convinced her it had a demon so my aunt threw it away. I always wondered if her sister did that so she could fish it out of the garbage later on and keep it herself lol! #exjw #jwtales

My favorite part of preaching door-to-door was the trip to Dunkin’ Donuts beforehand...😂 #exjw #jwtales #jwstories

Every summer my JW relatives would rent a house at the NJ shore for a girls trip. Our first order of business? Throw out anything that “might have a demon”. I always wondered what the family’s who rented out the house thought when they came back to find various #demons #jwtales

Just realized the irony of the fear of death after leaving the the JW religion when all I was told growing up was that I was gonna die...🤔 lol! #exjw #jwtales #healingthroughhumor
